Our Story

Our team members at Friends With Benefit Charity Events have always had a passion for helping people. We believe in dreams, good vibes, and sharing love around the world.

During the 2016 holiday season, FWB's founder watched a true-story movie that focused on an innocent little boy with cancer. When she turned on the movie, she had no idea what it was about. She also had no clue what St. Jude Children's Research Hospital does for sick children and their families. By the climax of the film, she was sobbing like a baby. The love from the doctors and the strength of the families were unexplainable. Her heart broke with sorrow but also brightened with inspiration. After watching the boy pass on to heaven, she made a promise to herself that she would do everything she could to raise money for St. Jude's. That promise has been kept! This was the start of Friends With Benefit Charity Events.

So, what does Friends With Benefit mean? There are probably hundreds of different meanings for that term. In our eyes, we are all friends in this one large world and we all benefit one another. We benefit you, by giving amazing experiences you'll never forget. You benefit charities, by donating money in support of people in need. And charities benefit those in need, with the money donated. It's one big love triangle... or a love square? Maybe a love circle? Well, in the end, it doesn't matter which shape, as long as the love is shared.

Antwon Tanner, who played the well-known character "Skills" on the hit TV show "One Tree Hill", has always been a very close friend to our team. He was the first celebrity to sign on and help raise donations. After discussing our thoughts with him, we realized that he had his own passion for another charity. That's when we decided, we won't just benefit St. Jude's, but also hundreds of other organizations around the world.

How It Works

It's actually very simple!

First, go to our campaigns page. Then, purchase a ticket(s) to one or more of our events!

Oh, by the way!..... Since we're a 501c3 non-profit organization, the IRS allows a tax deduction for the portion of your tickets that you do not receive anything of tangible value. Which means, most of the time, you can deduct a good portion of your ticket purchases!

So... you donate money to some amazing charities to help thousands of people.... You get to meet some of your favorite celebrities.... AND you save money on your taxes.

#WINNING

What Percentage Goes to Charity?

As much as we would love to give 100% of net donations to the charities, FWB needs 20% of net profits in order to keep these mind-blowing experiences ongoing. 80% of the net profits will go to the charity organization of the celebrity's choice and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
